[DNA] Symposium Kuala Lumpur 2026
On 10 September 2026, Shearn Delamore & Co. had the privilege of hosting the DNA Symposium Kuala Lumpur at W Kuala Lumpur. Bringing together leading voices across foreign investment, corporate strategy and regional law, the symposium explored how Southeast Asia, and Malaysia in particular, is navigating global volatility to position itself as a premier hub for cross-border capital.
The symposium commenced with opening remarks from our Managing Partner, Rodney Gomez, and Jimmy Yim, SC, Chairman of Drew & Napier LLC.
In his opening remarks, Rodney Gomez highlighted the firm's commitment to regional collaboration:

The session continued with an insightful keynote presentation on "Volatility to Profitability: Southeast Asia’s Edge in An Uncertain World" delivered by YBhg. Tan Sri Datuk Dr Rebecca Fatima Sta Maria.
Throughout the afternoon, panel discussions featuring industry leaders and partners from the Drew Network Asia (DNA) alliance, Drew & Napier LLC, Makarim & Taira S., Martinez Vergara & Gonzalez Sociedad (MVGS) and Tilleke & Gibbins, addressed key themes across three sessions that were moderated by our Partners, Putri Noor Shariza Noordin, Nicholas Tan and Michelle Wong Min Er.
